Yes, we love to have regular charity events where we dress up with the children. Sports day, the Christmas party and Graduation are yearly events, along with visits the hatching chicks.
If your child is unwell at home, we ask that they remain at home to give them time to recover. We follow the national guidance of 48 hours for vomiting, diarrhoea and / or a temperature after their last symptom. If they become unwell at nursery, we will call you and keep them comfortable until you can arrive.
We can administer any medication that is prescribed by a doctor, we require an email giving consent from the parent, each day the medication is needed to be administered. We also can administer Calpol or Piriton without prescription but will require permission from parents or carers at the time it is required, the nursery will call you for consent.
Yes, we have duty of care to your child and request you inform us via email if your child is not going to be attending the nursery for any reason.
You will need to email the nursery requesting your change, the nursery runs at full occupancy so available changes are very limited and cannot always be accommodated. If you wish to reduce your child’s attendance you will need to give a full calendars month notice from the 1st of the month.
Yes, there is large free carpark for drop off and collection.
Yes, however, to protect the children in our care you must email us a photo giving authorisation. The email must come directly from a parent’s email address, stating if it is a one-off authorisation or an ongoing arrangement.
Yes, you may collect your child whenever you wish, however we ask for you to inform us in advance when possible, in order to prepare your child and accommodate the change routines for us e.g. sleeping routine or feeding routines.
We understand that sometimes things happen out of your control such as traffic or appointments over running. If you are going to be late, please can you let us know as soon as you are aware.
It is not a problem once or twice but if this becomes more frequent you will be charged for any extra hours at the standard rate of £1.00 per minute, this is given directly to the members of team who have worked late to supervise your child. Please note children are never left in the care of only one adult.
Yes, we have fully funded places (attending 38 weeks) and we offer full time places with funding. All funding is split over the 51 weeks that we operate if attending additional hours. For funded places you must attend a minimum of three days a week.
We take registrations prior to birth and encourage you to register your child as early as you know you’ll need a place. Children are allocated a space based on registration date.
Please note, registering and paying the registration fee does not guarantee your child’s place as these can become booked years in advance. We do try and advise the likelihood of availability before any fees are paid by you.
To register we request you attend a tour, complete the registration form and pay the £50 registration fee. Please be aware this is non-refundable. On payment of the registration fee this allows you to go on to our waiting list for an offer of a place.

Yes, we will settle over a week prior to your joining us full time.
We have nursery uniform which can be purchased directly from the nursery. The nursery uniform consists of a t-shirts and sweatshirt. We request children to wear old tracksuit bottoms or leggings with the uniform to allow for the mess we make and toilet training.
No, the nursery cannot be responsible for loss or damage. If your child needs a comforter for sleeping, we request that it can be washable in the nursery washing machine for hygiene.
No, we follow your routine at home for our children under two years. For children over two years we offer an afternoon nap, if needed. We do not encourage this long term as we prefer children to sleep at night.
No, we do not have time for children to watch TV, we are busy engaging in fun educational activities.
Yes, we have daily access to the outdoors.
Accidents do happen at nursery but of course we try our best to prevent them. If your child has an accident, we will let you know upon collection. If it is a head injury (no matter how minor), we will always call you to let you know.
We will complete in an accident form to outline the incident (causes, treatments, outcomes etc) we ask you sign the form at collection time. We will provide any first aid needed.
